I’ve gathered 26 turkey dinner ideas with estimated WW Points ranging from 0 to 12 per serving. My starting rule: check the serving size, measure oil, pasta and cheese, then calculate your meal in the WW app. The figures are estimates, not verified WW values.
Here’s what’s on the menu:
- Mince meals: bolognese, meatloaf with butternut squash mash, meatballs in tomato sauce, burgers with salad, stuffed peppers, cottage pie and Swedish-style meatballs.
- Patties and koftas: harissa turkey patties, Greek turkey koftas and turkey meatball pitta.
- Breast dinners: lemon herb traybake, garlic turkey with Mediterranean vegetables, fajita traybake, schnitzel with roasted vegetables and scallopini with greens.
- Chilli dinners: turkey breast chilli with beans, three-bean chilli, smoky chilli with sweet potato and chilli jacket potatoes.
- Pasta dinners: turkey and tomato bake, creamy turkey and leek bake, spinach and ricotta bake, and lasagne.
- Slow-cooker meals: turkey chilli, turkey curry, and turkey and lentil casserole.
I’ve included portion notes and extras to count separately, so you can tell whether an estimate covers the main dish or the whole meal. Low Points doesn’t mean unlimited portions. For food safety, I use a clean thermometer to check that turkey reaches 75°C for 30 seconds.

26 Turkey Dinners: Estimated WW Points Compared
Understanding the WW Points Estimates
For each of the 26 dinners below, label the figure as estimated Points per serving and state how many servings the recipe makes.
These aren’t official or universal WW values. Points can change with your plan, ingredients, brands, cooking method and portion size. Use the recipe list as a guide, then recalculate each dish with your own ingredients using a SmartPoints calculator.
Turkey breast mince, turkey thigh mince and cooked leftovers track differently. Select the exact turkey product and specify whether its weight is raw or cooked.
Only describe a figure as verified once you’ve checked it in the WW app. Readers should still recalculate using their own ingredients.
List optional toppings separately unless they’re included in the estimate. Oil, butter, sauces and other Points-containing ingredients still count, even when a meal includes ZeroPoint foods.
The dinner ideas below follow these rules to estimate Points per serving.

Portions and Ingredients to Check Before Cooking
Before cooking any of the 26 dinners below, check Weight Watchers foods serving counts, turkey cut and mince fat percentage. Weigh the turkey raw, then divide the finished dish into equal portions.
Keep extras separate from the core recipe. Additions can change Points quickly, especially with burgers, pasta bakes and traybakes.
For burgers, track the roll, mayonnaise and chips separately from the patty and salad. For pasta bakes, include cheese in the core calculation and track extra cheese separately.
Check ingredient swaps before you start: use 5%-fat turkey mince rather than higher-fat mince, skinless breast instead of thigh, or fat-free fromage frais instead of cream. For gluten-free dinners, check the pasta, breadcrumbs, stock and bread.
Show prep, cooking and total times separately. Include time for shaping meatballs, browning mince and resting meat. Slow-cooker instructions should state whether to use the low or high setting and explain any final thickening step. Give both conventional and fan oven temperatures; cooking time alone is not a safety check.
200°C conventional / 180°C fan
Keep raw turkey away from ready-to-eat food. Wash your hands after handling it, and clean boards and utensils thoroughly. Use a clean food thermometer to check that the turkey reaches 75°C for 30 seconds. Check the thickest part of breast pieces and the centre of burgers, meatballs or meatloaf, keeping the probe away from bone. Check slow-cooker turkey too, and return it to the heat if it has not reached the target temperature.
1. Turkey Mince Bolognese
Brown the turkey mince, then add onion, grated carrot, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes and Italian herbs. Let it simmer for a lighter take on classic beef bolognese.
Estimated WW Points: 5 per serving, with 1 cup of cooked wholemeal spaghetti, 98% fat-free turkey breast mince and no added oil. Check the recipe in your WW app or calculate Weight Watchers Points manually, as Points vary by plan and portion size.
2. Turkey Meatloaf with Butternut Squash Mash
This make-ahead dinner starts with 500 g lean turkey mince. Mix it with a finely chopped onion, 1 garlic clove, 1 egg, 30 g breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon tomato purée and mixed herbs. Shape into a loaf, then bake at 180°C/160°C fan until the centre reaches 75°C for 30 seconds. Cooking time will depend on the loaf’s thickness.
For the mash, boil 800 g peeled, cubed butternut squash for 15–20 minutes. Drain and mash without butter, then serve alongside the meatloaf with steamed broccoli or green beans.
Estimated WW Points: 2–4 per serving; serves 4. Points vary depending on the mince, breadcrumbs and glaze.
3. Turkey Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Mix 500 g lean turkey mince with 1 finely diced onion, 2 garlic cloves, Italian herbs and enough breadcrumbs to bind. Shape into evenly sized meatballs, then brown in a non-stick pan with cooking spray. Add 400 g chopped tomatoes and 1 tablespoon tomato purée, then simmer until the meatballs are cooked through.
Use a clean food thermometer to check that the centre of a meatball reaches 70°C for 2 minutes. Serve with steamed vegetables or courgette noodles, or add a modest portion of wholewheat spaghetti.
Estimated WW Points: 2–4 per serving; serves 4. Check the finished recipe in the WW app or calculate the recipe’s points manually.
4. Turkey Burgers with Salad
Mix 500 g lean turkey mince with grated onion, garlic, herbs and black pepper. Shape into four patties, then chill briefly. Grill until cooked through, making sure the centre reaches 75°C for 30 seconds.
Serve each burger on a salad of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion and grated carrot. Add a measured portion of low-fat yoghurt-mustard dressing. For the lowest-point version, skip the bun.
Estimated WW Points: 3–6 per serving; serves 4. Your total will depend on the turkey mince, dressing and whether you add a low-point burger buns. Recalculate in your WW app to check.
5. Turkey-Stuffed Peppers
Fill peppers with turkey mince, spinach, quinoa and feta. Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the centre reaches 74°C.
WW Points: 5 per serving for the listed recipe. If you change the quinoa, cheese or mince, recalculate the points in your WW app or calculate them without the app.
6. Turkey Cottage Pie
To make four portions, you’ll need 500 g extra-lean turkey mince, 1 onion, 2 carrots, 150 g frozen peas, 400 ml reduced-salt stock and 1 tablespoon tomato purée.
Brown the mince and onion in 1 teaspoon of oil. Add the carrots, peas, stock and tomato purée, then simmer until the filling thickens.
Mash 800 g potatoes with a splash of semi-skimmed milk and spread over the filling. Bake at 200°C/180°C fan for 25–30 minutes, until the top is golden and the centre is hot.
WW Points: about 8 per serving when divided into four portions. Calculate your Weight Watchers points in the app, as the mince, milk and stock can change the total.
7. Swedish-Style Turkey Meatballs
These Swedish-style turkey meatballs make a creamy dinner with a lower Points count. The mushroom and crème fraîche sauce adds richness without pushing the Points too high.
Mix 500 g lean turkey mince with 30 g breadcrumbs, one egg, a small finely chopped onion and a pinch of allspice and nutmeg. Shape into 16 meatballs to make 4 servings.
Brown the meatballs in a non-stick pan over a medium heat, then add 250 g mushrooms and 400 ml reduced-salt stock. Simmer until the centres reach 70°C for 2 minutes. Stir in 150 g low-fat crème fraîche and serve with steamed greens.
WW Points: about 8 per serving; serves 4. Understand how points are calculated and recalculate in the WW app using your exact mince, dairy and portion size.
8. Harissa Turkey Patties
These harissa turkey patties offer a sharper, spiced alternative.
Mix 500 g turkey breast mince with 2 tbsp harissa paste, a finely diced red onion, 2 garlic cloves, 1 tsp ground cumin, chopped parsley or coriander, the zest of 1 lemon, 30 g wholemeal breadcrumbs and 1 egg. Shape into 4 patties, each 1.5–2 cm thick.
Cook in a non-stick pan with 1 tsp oil for 5 minutes per side, then continue cooking until the centre of the thickest patty reaches 75°C for 30 seconds. Serve with a tomato-and-cucumber salad and fat-free natural yoghurt mixed with lemon and mint.
Estimated WW Points: 2–3 per serving; serves 4. Choose plain turkey breast mince, which is on the old WW Zero Point foods list, to keep Points lower, and recalculate in the WW Recipe Analyser. For more help, check out these free Weight Watchers tools.
9. Greek Turkey Koftas
These Greek-style koftas are a lighter Mediterranean option. Mix 500 g skinless turkey breast mince with 1 grated onion, 2 crushed garlic cloves, parsley, mint, 1 tsp each of cumin and paprika, lemon zest and black pepper. Shape into 16 small koftas, then chill for 30 minutes.
Bake on a lined tray at 200°C/180°C fan until the thickest kofta reaches 75°C. Serve 4 koftas per person with a cucumber and tomato salad, plus a fat-free Greek yoghurt dip made with lemon, garlic and mint.
Estimated WW Points: 0 per serving; serves 4, provided your turkey breast mince and fat-free Greek yoghurt are ZeroPoint foods and you add no oil or breadcrumbs.
10. Turkey Meatball Pitta
For a lighter, hand-held dinner, mix 125 g 7% fat turkey mince with ½ small grated onion, garlic, oregano and 1 tsp breadcrumbs. Shape into five meatballs, then bake at 200°C/180°C fan for 15–18 minutes, turning once. Check that the thickest meatball reaches 70°C for 2 minutes.
Fill one small wholemeal pitta with the meatballs and 100–150 g lettuce, tomato and cucumber. Mix 50 g fat-free Greek yoghurt with lemon and mint, then spoon it in. Assemble just before eating so the pitta stays crisp. For less prep, try the next traybake.
Estimated WW Smart Points: 7–10 per serving; serves 1, including the pitta and sauce. Check the total in the WW app using your ingredient labels and portion sizes.
11. Lemon Herb Turkey Breast Traybake
This one-pan dinner means less prep and less washing-up.
For four servings, you’ll need 600 g skinless turkey breast steaks or fillets, 2 peppers, 1 courgette, 1 red onion and 250 g cherry tomatoes. Add the juice and zest of 1 lemon, 2 crushed garlic cloves and 1 tsp dried mixed herbs for flavour. Use 1 tsp olive oil for the whole tray.
Toss the vegetables with the oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic and herbs. Roast for 15 minutes at 200°C/180°C fan/Gas Mark 6, then add the turkey. Cook until the turkey is cooked through, using a food thermometer to check that the thickest part reaches 75°C. Rest briefly before slicing. Serve as it is, or add a measured starchy side.
Estimated WW Points: about 0–1 Points per serving; serves 4, without sides. Skinless turkey breast keeps the base low in Points, with the oil as the main counted ingredient. Track potatoes or couscous separately.
12. Garlic Turkey and Mediterranean Vegetables
This quick pan-cooked meal makes four portions. You’ll need 500 g skinless turkey breast strips, 2 courgettes, 2 peppers, 1 red onion, 250 g cherry tomatoes and 3 crushed garlic cloves.
Cut the vegetables into even pieces, then cook in 1 tbsp olive oil, adding the garlic towards the end. Add the turkey, dried oregano and 1–2 tbsp water. Cook until the turkey is cooked through, then finish with lemon juice and chopped parsley. Serve straight away.
Estimated WW Points: about 2 per serving, without sides. Divide into four equal portions and track any couscous, rice or wholemeal pitta separately using a WW allowance calculator.
13. Turkey Fajita Traybake
Lime adds a sharp finish to this spicier traybake, while fajita seasoning brings the heat.
For four servings, you’ll need 600 g skinless turkey breast strips, 3 sliced peppers, 1 red onion, 1 courgette, 1–2 tsp rapeseed oil, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 1 lime and 20 g fajita seasoning.
Roast the seasoned vegetables at 200°C fan/220°C conventional for 15 minutes. Add the turkey, toss well and roast for another 12–15 minutes, turning once. Keep everything in a single layer to help it brown. Check that the thickest turkey strips reach 75°C, then squeeze over the lime juice.
Estimated WW Points: about 1 per serving for the base traybake. A medium flour tortilla adds about 3 extra Points. Recalculate the full meal in the WW app using your ingredients. Track salsa and fat-free yoghurt separately.
14. Turkey Schnitzel with Roasted Vegetables
For a lighter schnitzel with a crisp coating, flatten 120–150 g skinless turkey breast, dip it in egg white, then coat with 15–20 g breadcrumbs. Serve with 250 g mixed vegetables, such as peppers, courgette and red onion. Use 1 tsp olive oil per serving in total.
Bake rather than fry to keep the Points lower. Place the schnitzel on a lined tray and bake at 180°C fan/200°C conventional, turning once, until golden and the thickest part reaches 70°C for 2 minutes. Roast the vegetables on a separate tray so the coating stays crisp.
Estimated WW Points: 5–8 per serving, depending on the turkey cut, breadcrumbs, egg, oil and any sauce. Enter your exact ingredients in the WW app for the most accurate result.
15. Turkey Scallopini with Greens
Flatten 125 g skinless turkey breast per person to about 5 mm thick, then lightly dust with flour. Heat 1 tsp olive oil per person in a pan and cook the turkey for 2–3 minutes on each side, until the centre reaches 70°C and stays there for 2 minutes.
Remove the turkey, then add stock, lemon juice and garlic to the pan. Simmer, scraping up the browned bits, and finish with parsley. Serve with 150 g steamed broccoli, kale or green beans.
Estimated WW Points: 3–6 per serving, without potatoes. The total depends on the turkey product and the flour, oil and stock used. Log the exact quantities in your current WW app; butter or creamy additions will change the total.
16. Turkey Breast Chilli with Beans
Estimated WW Points: about 2–4 per serving, excluding optional sides or toppings. You’ll need 500 g diced skinless turkey breast, one onion, two peppers, two garlic cloves, a 400 g tin of chopped tomatoes, a 400 g tin of kidney beans (drained and rinsed) and 200 ml reduced-salt stock.
Brown the turkey in a non-stick pan with cooking spray, then soften the onion and peppers. Stir in the garlic, chilli powder, smoked paprika and cumin. Pour in the tomatoes, beans and stock, then simmer gently for 20–25 minutes, until the chilli has thickened and the turkey reaches 75°C for 30 seconds.
Serve with cauliflower rice, lime and coriander. Check the points in your WW app, using your exact ingredients and dividing the recipe into four equal portions. Track rice, cheese and any other extras separately.
17. Turkey and Three-Bean Chilli
Estimated WW Points: 0–1 per serving, excluding toppings and sides, if you use skinless turkey breast mince, beans in water or brine and no added oil. Recheck in the WW app or consult a WW Points Plus food list.
For a beanier chilli that serves four, use 500 g turkey breast mince and one drained, rinsed tin each of kidney, black and cannellini beans. You’ll also need chopped tomatoes, onion, peppers, garlic, chilli powder, smoked paprika and stock.
Brown the mince, then soften the vegetables. Stir in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 20–25 minutes, until the chilli thickens and the turkey reaches 75°C.
The beans add fibre and texture. Divide into four equal portions and freeze any extras individually for quick midweek dinners.
18. Smoky Turkey Chilli with Sweet Potato
Estimated WW Points: about 6 per serving, excluding optional toppings. Check the recipe or count Weight Watchers points in the WW app.
For four servings, you’ll need 500 g lean turkey mince, 500 g sweet potato (peeled and cut into 2 cm cubes), 1 onion, 2 peppers, 2 garlic cloves, 400 g chopped tomatoes, 400 g kidney beans (drained and rinsed), 300 ml reduced-salt stock, 2 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp ground cumin, chilli powder to taste and 1 tsp olive oil. Everything cooks in one pan, keeping midweek cooking simple.
Soften the onion and peppers in the oil. Add the turkey and cook until browned, then stir in the garlic, smoked paprika, cumin and chilli powder. Add the tomatoes, stock, beans and sweet potato. Bring to a simmer and cook for 25–30 minutes, until the sweet potato is tender and the turkey reaches 75°C.
Divide into 4 equal portions, sharing the sweet potato evenly. Serve one portion per person, on its own or with a large salad.
19. Turkey Chilli Jacket Potatoes
A baked jacket potato topped with turkey chilli makes a filling midweek dinner.
Estimated WW Points: about 5–8 per serving, excluding optional toppings.
For four servings, you’ll need 4 baking potatoes (150–180 g each), 500 g lean turkey mince or turkey breast mince, 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, 1 red pepper, 400 g chopped tomatoes, 1 × 400 g tin kidney beans (drained and rinsed), 1–2 tbsp tomato purée, chilli powder, smoked paprika, cumin and black pepper.
Bake the potatoes at 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6 for 55–75 minutes. Meanwhile, make the chilli with the remaining ingredients and simmer for 20–25 minutes, until thick.
Spoon a quarter of the chilli over each potato, then finish each with 2 tbsp fat-free natural yoghurt and chopped spring onions. Track any cheese or soured cream separately.
For another easy midweek dinner, the next recipe swaps chilli for a pasta bake.
20. Turkey and Tomato Pasta Bake
This pasta bake combines lean turkey mince, wholewheat pasta and vegetables, topped with reduced-fat Cheddar. Estimated WW Points: about 10–12 per serving. (For even faster options, check out these WW ready meals).
For four servings, you’ll need 400 g lean turkey mince, 240 g dry wholewheat pasta, 500 g passata, 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, 1 red pepper, 1 courgette and 40 g reduced-fat Cheddar, plus oregano and smoked paprika.
Cook the pasta until just tender. Brown the turkey with the onion and garlic, then add the remaining vegetables, passata and seasonings. Let the sauce thicken, then mix in the pasta and sprinkle the cheese over the top. Bake at 220°C/200°C fan for about 20 minutes, until bubbling, and divide into four equal portions.
21. Creamy Turkey and Leek Pasta Bake
This creamy pasta bake pairs tender leeks with a mustard and soft-cheese sauce. It’s a lighter option that uses everyday ingredients and keeps prep simple.
For four portions, you’ll need 400 g diced skinless turkey breast, 250 g dried wholewheat pasta, 2 sliced leeks, 1 chopped onion, 400 ml reduced-salt chicken stock, 200 g reduced-fat soft cheese and 40 g reduced-fat Cheddar, plus garlic, black pepper and 1 teaspoon mustard.
Cook the pasta until just underdone, then drain. Cook the turkey with the onion and garlic, then add the leeks and cook until softened. Stir in the stock, soft cheese and mustard, season with black pepper, then mix with the pasta. Top with Cheddar and bake at 200°C/180°C fan until bubbling and lightly golden. Check the turkey is cooked through before serving.
Estimated WW Points: 9–11 per serving; serves 4. Check your exact ingredients and portion size in the WW app.
22. Turkey, Spinach and Ricotta Pasta Bake

Cook the pasta until just underdone, then drain. Brown the turkey with the onion and garlic. Stir in the passata, herbs and spinach. If you’re using thawed frozen spinach, squeeze out the excess moisture before adding it.
Cook until the spinach wilts, then stir in the ricotta and pasta. Spoon into a baking dish and bake at 200°C/180°C fan until bubbling and lightly browned. Check that the turkey is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Estimated WW Points: 9–11 per serving; serves 4. Recalculate in the WW app using your exact brands and portion size.
23. Turkey Lasagne

For four portions, use 500 g lean turkey mince, 250 g mushrooms, 1 grated courgette, 700 g passata and 6 lasagne sheets, plus onion, garlic and Italian herbs. Layer the mince and vegetables with the passata, herbs and pasta sheets. Top with a sauce made from semi-skimmed milk and cornflour, then sprinkle over about 60 g reduced-fat cheese.
Bake at 190°C fan until bubbling and golden. Leave to stand for 5–10 minutes before slicing to help the layers hold their shape.
Estimated WW Points: about 8–10 per serving. Check the exact mince, pasta, milk, cheese and any oil in the WW app or refer to a WW Original Points Foods List. Serve with salad, counting any dressing separately.
24. Slow Cooker Turkey Chilli
This hands-off turkey chilli combines kidney beans, peppers and smoky spices, with little active cooking time.
For four portions, use 500 g 98% fat-free turkey breast mince, 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped peppers, 2 garlic cloves, 400 g chopped tomatoes, a 400 g tin of kidney beans, drained and rinsed, and 1–2 tablespoons tomato purée. Add 1 teaspoon each of cumin, smoked paprika and chilli powder.
Brown the mince, onion and garlic using your slow cooker’s sauté function, or use a frying pan. Put everything in the slow cooker and add just enough water to prevent sticking. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, keep the lid on and check that the chilli reaches 75°C before serving.
Estimated WW Points: about 0 per serving on plans where these ingredients are ZeroPoint foods. Check the recipe in the WW app, as Points vary with ingredients, brands and portion size. Serve with steamed vegetables or a measured portion of cooked rice. Track any cheese or soured cream separately.
The next recipe uses the same easy slow-cooker approach to make a curry.
25. Slow Cooker Turkey Curry
For a mild curry, add 500–600 g skinless turkey breast or extra-lean turkey mince to your slow cooker with onion, garlic, ginger, mild curry powder, chopped tomatoes and stock. Add vegetables such as peppers and cauliflower, keeping the spinach for later. This makes four servings.
Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours, until the turkey is cooked through. Stir in the spinach near the end, then finish with fat-free Greek yoghurt.
Estimated WW Points: 4–6 per serving, excluding rice. Serve with cauliflower rice, or count a measured portion of basmati rice separately. Recalculate in the WW app using your brands and portions.
26. Slow Cooker Turkey and Lentil Casserole
Add 500 g diced, defrosted turkey breast and 150 g rinsed dried green or brown lentils to your slow cooker. Stir in 1 chopped onion, 2 carrots, 2 celery sticks, 2 garlic cloves, 400 g chopped tomatoes and 500 ml reduced-salt chicken stock. Season with 1 teaspoon each of smoked paprika and dried thyme.
Cook on low for 6–7 hours, until the lentils are tender and the turkey reaches 75°C. The lentils naturally thicken the casserole, so there’s no need for cream or flour.
Divide into four equal servings and serve with steamed green beans. Estimated WW Points: 1 per serving; serves 4. Recalculate in the WW app using your exact ingredients. Use the points guide below to adjust portions, sides and toppings.

FAQs
Which turkey dinners can I freeze and reheat?
Homemade dinners with turkey breast, turkey breast mince and vegetables can be frozen. Freeze in portions using freezer-safe containers to make thawing and reheating easier.
Keep pre-packaged frozen chicken or turkey meals that fit your WW plan frozen until you’re ready to cook them, and follow the instructions on the packaging. Include any added oils or sauces when calculating the meal’s WW Points.
How can I keep lean turkey moist?
Poach lean turkey in stock, or use a covered dish or slow cooker to help keep it juicy. For turkey breast, try a marinade of stock, soy sauce and garlic before cooking.
Avoid overcooking lean cuts – they dry out quickly. When making meatballs or burgers, mix in vegetables or other ingredients that help retain moisture.
Can I use leftover turkey in these recipes?
Yes, you can use leftover cooked turkey breast or mince in these recipes, including stir-fries, salads and pasta bakes. It’s a handy way to cut food waste, make weekly meal planning easier and stay within your daily points budget.
Check your tracker for exact points values, counting any oils or sauces you add when reheating.
