I use the WW Zero-Point Boost Meal Planner to plan 7 days of meals, record Points and check what I actually ate. Print this independent planner on A4 landscape, select Fit to Page, and use the WW app to confirm your personalised Points and ZeroPoint foods.
Here’s what I keep on paper:
- Meals and snacks, with daily tick boxes and space for Points.
- ZeroPoint choices, checked against my personal list.
- Shopping and prep notes, including ingredients I already have.
- Changes and a weekly review, so I can decide what to repeat.
My rule: <u>a “boost” means adding ZeroPoint foods – not earning extra Points</u>. I still count extras such as oil, butter and sugar, and use the WW app – not this unofficial printable – to check food details.

Free Printable: Layout and Printing Instructions
Produced by Team MyWWList, this free printable PDF is an independent resource for manual tracking. It is not an official WW publication.
Print on A4 paper in landscape orientation. Select A4 as the paper size and choose Fit to Page to prevent cropped edges. Check the print preview: all seven day columns, tick boxes and notes space should be visible. If the lines look faint, select High or Best print quality.
Weekly Meal and Points Grid
Use the grid to turn your weekly meal plan into a day-by-day record.
The printable should begin with “Week beginning: DD/MM/YYYY”, followed by seven day columns, each with its own date field. Include separate rows for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, ZeroPoint foods and Points, with enough room to write meals by hand.
Leave separate spaces below the grid for shopping and prep notes.
Daily Planner Tick Boxes
Tick each box only after completing the task, and repeat for each day:
- ☐ Planned meals
- ☐ Logged ZeroPoint foods
- ☐ Recorded Points foods
- ☐ Checked the WW app for personalised Points
- ☐ Reviewed the day’s totals
Use the paper planner to track each day, and check the WW app or website for personalised Points and food details.
Next, choose the ZeroPoint foods and meals you’ll use most often.
Choose Your ZeroPoint Foods and Meals
Add your ZeroPoint foods to each day in the weekly grid. Your personal ZeroPoint list decides what qualifies; the prompts below aren’t a list for everyone.
ZeroPoint Ingredient Checklist
Before ticking ZeroPoint list, check the exact food, preparation method and packaged version in the WW app. Tick the other boxes separately to show what you already have and plan to use.
| Ingredient prompt | ZeroPoint list | Already have | Plan to use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fruit | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Non-starchy vegetables | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Beans, peas and lentils | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Eggs | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Fish and shellfish | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Chicken and turkey | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Tofu and tempeh | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Fat-free plain Greek yoghurt | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Cottage cheese | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
| Corn on the cob / air-popped popcorn | ☐ | ☐ | ☐ |
Build WW-friendly meals around ZeroPoint foods, adding other foods as needed. Record the Points for any added ingredients. ZeroPoint doesn’t mean calorie-free, so use your usual portions and stop eating when you feel satisfied.
Weekly Meal Planning Checklist
- ☐ Choose ZeroPoint ingredients confirmed on your personal list.
- ☐ Check how to calculate Points for added ingredients, such as oil, butter or sugar.
- ☐ Match each meal to a day in your weekly grid.
Compare Planned and Completed Meals
| Planned | Completed |
|---|---|
| Intended meal | Meal eaten |
| Planned Points | Actual Points |
| Planned ZeroPoint ingredients | Eaten ZeroPoint ingredients |
| Preparation notes | Changes and extras |
Use the completed column to update your daily tracker with what you actually ate. Refer to this plan when logging each day’s meals and Points in the next section.
Track Food and Points Each Day
Use your completed plan as a daily food log. Check current Points values in the WW app, then copy them into your planner. If a meal or portion changes, update the app entry first, then adjust your paper total.
Daily Food Tracking Checklist
Tick each box as you update your day’s record. If you’re unsure about a food’s ZeroPoint status, use the checklist below before logging it.
- ☐ Record portions and app-calculated Points for foods that need tracking.
- ☐ Add substitutions, unplanned snacks and any other extras.
- ☐ Note ZeroPoint foods in your planner to monitor variety; you don’t need to weigh them or track them in the app.
- ☐ Compare your daily total with your current Points Budget in the app.
Check a Food’s ZeroPoint Status
If you’re unsure whether a food is ZeroPoint:
- ☐ Find the exact food or branded product in the WW app.
- ☐ Check the ingredients and preparation method, including added fats or sugars.
- ☐ Confirm it matches your current personal ZeroPoint list.
- ☐ Check serving details and any portion guidance.
A similar product isn’t enough to confirm ZeroPoint status. Before logging a food as 0 Points, check the exact product, ingredients, preparation and serving details in the app.
Review Your Week and Plan Ahead
Look back at this week’s completed planner to decide what to repeat next week. Keep meals that worked, remove ingredients you didn’t use and record any Points changes.
Weekly Planner Review Checklist
Check your printable at the end of the week:
- ☐ Every day has a meal plan.
- ☐ Planned ZeroPoint foods match my personal list.
- ☐ All Points foods are identified.
- ☐ Snacks and drinks are recorded.
- ☐ The shopping list is up to date.
- ☐ Any changes are recorded.
ZeroPoint additions are optional. Choose them when they fit your meals and preferences.

FAQs
How do I calculate Points for batch-cooked meals?
Add up the Points for every ingredient, including oils, butter and sauces. Then divide the total by the number of servings you plan to make to get the Points per portion.
Use the official Weight Watchers app for accurate, personalised tracking, as Points values can vary by plan. Check your ingredients against your tracker before cooking to keep your meal plan accurate.
Can I include eating out in my weekly plan?
Yes. Leave some wiggle room in your points budget and track your choices carefully. Ask for sauces, dressings or honey-based extras on the side so you can control your portions.
Unsure what’s in a dish? Use the official Weight Watchers app to find a similar entry, or make a careful estimate to help you stay within your daily points budget.
How do I track recipes with mixed ingredients?
Count ZeroPoint base foods as ‘no Points’ only when they’re not mixed with ingredients that carry Points, such as oil, butter, mayo, sauces, cheese or sweeteners. Check the SmartPoints for every other ingredient in the official WW app, then add up the recipe’s total before putting it on your weekly plan.
If you’re unsure what’s in a dish, find the closest match in the app or estimate portions carefully to stay within your daily budget.
